SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
The SWP awards gifts on the basis of a comprehensive process. Areas that are reviewed by the committee include, but are not limited to the following:

Academic Accomplishments, Community Service, References, Personal Essay and Financial Need.

SWP gifts funds directly to the recipient. Gifts are based upon the availability of funds and additional qualifying criteria.
CRITERIA

Applicants must be completing or have completed high school successfully with a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

Applicants must be accepted as a full time student at a college or university for the upcoming academic semester.

Applicant must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.

Applicants must submit a personal statement essay, the essay should be 200-500 words (1 page). The essay should be typed, double spaced with a 12 font.

Applicants must compete and submit an application by May 3, 2025.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicant must provide:

Completed application form.

Official proof of academic standing.

A letter of academic references from a guidance counselor or teacher.

Proof of acceptance to an academic school for post-secondary studies.

Personal Statement should include a brief overview of who you are, your strengths and any work experience and/or education you've got. Be sure to include skills you've gained, such as time management, customer service, teamwork, computer skills etc..

Cap and gown photo

Applicant must provide their complete and correct mailing address where their gift check is to be sent.
